Where are you now?
Where did you go?
Where did you go?
I’ve lost you.
I cannot see,
I cannot see,
you anymore.
You disappeared,
You disappeared,
on me.
You faded,
You faded,
into nothing but,
a memory.
I cannot feel,
I cannot feel,
you anymore.
Now I’m free,
Now I’m free,
I’m flying.
I broke the chains,
I broke the chains,
I’m not sinking,
anymore.
Now I’m ready,
Now I’m ready,
for another heart.
Another start,
Another dream,
Another love,
Another me.
I moved on.

About this poem:
Not necessarily one of my best today, I could, no, I SHOULD have put more effort in this one, but it’s late over here and I’m not really in the mood to “go through it” again. Reflecting on an old, long lost love can be quite draining. Maybe I’m going to review this piece and rewrite it one day, maybe I won’t. Let’s see.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Prospermind. 🙂
It seems complete to me, but that’s just one opinion xoxo
