Impetus.

sailing_away_by_aprillight_d3362gt-fullview

I’m dying,
I’m dying.

Sail away,
sail away,
sail away.

Waiting for the boat,
to take me away from here.

Sail away,
sail away,
sail away.

What are we living for?
I don’t even know.
If we cannot be free,
what can we be?
Why live at all?

I’m dying,
I’m dying.

Sail away,
sail away,
sail away.

Where is this boat?
Please come pick me up,
I’m waiting to be saved,
so close to jumping off this shore,
and into the unknown.

I’m ready to leave the chains behind,
to go out and explore what lies beyond the shores.
Take me away, take me away,
oh, can’t you hear me call?
