Just A Robot

And now I am holding,
what to you,
is just complex,
nothing but,
a circuit,
a simple muscle,
you never flex.

And like so many others,
I was thinking,
you were different,
that I was going to,
break you down,
and change you,

But in the end,
this didn’t work out.
you are,
just a robot,
with a heart,
that’s rusting away.
That’s all.

About the poem:

Even though this piece isn’t inspired by Tim Burton’s ‘Robot Boy’, I thought this image is a great fit to go along with my words.

Have a great Thursday everyone,

prospermind. 🙂

Here’s a funny coincidence: According to the folks on twitter, it is Tim Burton’s birthday today. How funny. (And weird).
