We were never.

We were two,
shaped arrows pointing,
at each other.

We were nothing,
but the taste of poison,
the kiss of our love.

We were love,
shaped like a gun,
piercing our hearts.

We were hate,
spending our days,
tearing ourselves apart.

We were never lovers,
but only,
a sick twist of fate.

About the poem:

There is not much to say about this poem. It’s just something I wrote within ten minutes. I didn’t have much time to write today, so this is what I ended up with. It’s not a perfect piece, but it doesn’t have to be. I like it this way.

See you soon,

prospermind. 🙂
