Tell me how.

Please, tell me,
where do I go,
from here?

Please, tell me,
how do I move on,
from here?

Please, tell me,
how do I restart,
my heart from here?

Please, tell me,
how do I not just fall,
apart right here?

When –
You turned around,
on me.
You turned around,
on me.
You turned around,
on me.

When,
lonely words,
blown into the wind,
are all I can think of.

So,
please, tell me,
how the fuck do I just,
let go?

  2. In answer to your last question… not easily. In fact, letting go is just about one of the hardest things one can ever do, and I’m still no good at it. This poem is so beautifully sad, my friend.

  4. I am tearing up and I don’t even know why. This is what they call “real” poetry. That which touches something deep within. Absolutely brilliant.
