Overlove.

Have you ever heard
of overlove?

When two hearts beat,
inside one chest?
When two hearts race,
to win a race?
When two hearts squeeze,
into a tiny space?

Overlove,
it comes with pain,
overlove,
doesn’t know restraint.

I love you so,
that it hurts like hell,
I love you so,
that hatred fills my every cell.

I love you,
but then again,
I hate you, too.
I simply overlove you.

      • They said too much of everything is not good… like too much of love may cause some real danger to ones mental health… well maybe yes and maybe no… love could be a beautiful feeling but for some could be hell… but we do have a choice either to let go or continue staying in that one sided love. Let’s give our heart a chance to breathe… love will find us… ❤

      • Oh how right they were, hats off to the person coming up with these words of wisdom. Yes, too much love can drive you crazy at either end, whether you’re on the receiving end or on the giving end. Love is madness through and through.
You’re right, we do have a choice, though finding the strength and courage to let go is a whole different story.

I couldn’t have said it better, you’ve put it perfectly. Thanks ‘Love advisor’. ♥ 😉

      • There is no right formula or ingredient to that… so take some time to reflect… what kind of person are you? Do you feel better in listening to rock? Or are you the melancholic type of guy? So how to move on depends on what makes us feel good… its a matter of restructuring our thoughts… 🙂

      • Descirbing my musical side is difficult to keep it short let’s just say I listen to whatever my heart desires during certain moments. From classical operas over reggae, rock to jazz, soul and pop. I know no limits when it comes to music.
What always makes me feel good is watching a silly comedy and singing shamelessly under the shower! 😀

  5. Thank you for liking my poem Shamanic Tale on my blog WordMusic. I appreciate the approval. I spurs me on to write more. You will find almost four hundred poems there. Something for everybody! Do come back often, please.

  6. I fear I have been writing so much, I have failed to check back and see who is following me. Please forgive a guy who runs his own business and writes, and publishes, at least a poem every day. *blush* It makes me forgetful.

  7. Last year, I published exactly 365 poems. I do write a lot, but it’s like singing. Why would one not sing should one feel like it? hahahahaha
