Lovetalk.

All I ever talk about,
is how I am with you,
Oh, all I ever talk about,
is how I am,
with you.

And all you ever talk about,
is how you are with me,
Yes, all you ever talk about,
is how you are,
with me.

And all they ever talk about,
is how they want to be like us,
Oh, all they ever talk about,
is how they want to be,
like us.

C’mon girl enough talked around,
don’t you think we’ve talked enough?
Alright boy so let’s spin around,
and courageously fall in love.

Alright girl let’s spin around around,
until the end of time,
C’mon boy enough looked around,
we’ve got us now and that is fine!

  1. Love it! Especially “courageously fall in love”. You have to be brave to let go and sink into an unknown entity like love. I guess they don’t call it ‘falling’ for nothing.

    • I’m so glad that you love it! This puts a huuuuge smile on my face. πŸ˜€
Exactly! You’re right, love is about trusting another person and only with (enough) trust you can let yourself fall into their arms.
      Wonderfully said!! πŸ™‚

  2. I love this song of yours.
Yes, courageously fall in love. That is the next step, even if it’s often a scary one!

    • Thank you Dawn! I’m very glad you like it. I find it quite sweet to be honest, the word came to me while I was cooking the other day, I immedeately sang them as a whole and thought to myself, I should write them down and not let them get to waste.
Yes, I agree. It’s a scary step alright, but life is too short to be scared!! πŸ™‚

      • Hey, you SANG them? When do we hear the melody?
And yes, these poems that come to us all at once are often the most powerful!
I’m glad you were quick, wrote them down and shared with us!

      • Haha, yes indeed. I sang them, oh I don’t know. I’m not quite ready yet to sing in front of an audience, I have trouble with singing without my vocal coach. It’s weird, I’ve been a classical voice student for two years now and my teacher keeps trying to boost my confidence in my voice, however this is the one huge obstacle I have to overcome. I’m not a shy person, I’m very social and outgoing and I’m the last person to say no when it comes to doing manic things, however ask me to sing in front of another person than my vocal teacher and I choke and can’t hit a note. It’s kind of funny, but I’m working on it and I’m very confident that I will have conquered this obstacle soon! πŸ™‚

      • Well, I have a way around this problem: play the tune on the piano, the guitar, whatever works for you. That way at least we’ll know what it actually sound like πŸ™‚
And then, when you’re ready, maybe you can actually sing it for us πŸ™‚
